Spacelabs signs global distribution agreement for analgesia pain monitor

Published 24 June 2014

Spacelabs Healthcare, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OSI Systems, has completed a global partnership agreement with Mdoloris Medical Systems.

Mdoloris produces the ANI monitor, which continuously monitors the pain level of patients. Use of the monitor will improve patient care and pain management as drugs can be more precisely administered.

Spacelabs Healthcare president Nicholas Ong said that the ANI monitor will become a complimentary product offering in our wide perioperative and critical product portfolio.

"Spacelabs Healthcare will continue to introduce new technologies to enable clinicians to provide the best care experience to patients and their families," Ong added.

Mdoloris Medical Systems CEO Fabien Pagniez said that it is a pleasure to announce its partnership with Spacelabs.

"Spacelabs is a perfect partner to promote the ANI technology, as we share the goal of providing our common customers with the best products and technologies to enhance the quality of care," Pagniez added.
